PRIMESTAR expands its June platform with a third Berlin property - June Stay Berlin -via acquisition from Revo insolvency

Berlin, 10 July 2026 – The PRIMESTAR Group is expanding its presence in the German capital with the takeover of an established serviced-apartment operation located at Goethestraße 87 in Berlin City West, previously known as "Townhouse Berlin" and operated under the Revo umbrella. The property and its 47 apartments will be repositioned as June Stay Berlin as of September 2026, becoming PRIMESTAR's third June branded address in Berlin and its second June opening of 2026, following June SIX Salzburg A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in March.

The takeover marks another step in the continued expansion of PRIMESTAR's integrated June platform and further strengthens the Group's position in one of Europe's most dynamic urban hospitality markets. The new addition to the June portfolio complements the highly successful June SIX Berlin City West at Savignyplatz with a dedicated long-stay offering. Together with the newly signed June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz – the brand's future flagship with around 350 keys – the new residence anchors a connected June Hotel hub in the capital.

With its "travel.work.live." ecosystem, PRIMESTAR combines June SIX, June Stay and WorX into a single, modular and fully integrated guest offering. With three June properties now operating or in development across Berlin, guest will be able to move seamlessly between boutique hotel stays, extended-stay living and workspace, while the Group is steadily consolidating its footprint in this core market.

A growing June cluster across Berlin

Located in the established Charlottenburg, just a short distance from its sister property June SIX Berlin City West at Savignyplatz, June Stay Berlin sits at the centre of one of the city's most vibrant lifestyle districts, surrounded by the boutiques and galleries of Kurfürstendamm and the buzzing cafés and restaurants of Kantstraße. The proximity of the two houses allows them to operate as a connected June hub, sharing the same service philosophy and technology platform and giving guests the freedom to move seamlessly between a boutique hotel stay and long-stay living.

On a citywide level, June Stay Berlin and June SIX Berlin City West form the western anchor of a broader June network, complemented by the future June SIX & Stay Warschauer Platz in the east of the city. Together, the properties will connect hospitality, extended-stay living, work, transport, dining and culture into a flexible urban guest journey, while generating operational efficiencies for PRIMESTAR across the capital.

Full rebranding to next generation-stay with minimal impact on operation

The property will go through an entirely committed, substantial reinvestment program aimed at upgrading both the physical asset and operational infrastructure. PRIMESTAR will implement enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience and further strengthen the property's long-term market position. The property will undergo a phased transition into the June platform, including integration of PRIMESTAR’s operating systems, digital guest journey and brand standards. Following completion of the transition process, the property will operate as June Stay Berlin and will be operated from 1 September 2026.

June Stay is designed as a next-generation urban long-stay concept that combines the flexibility of apartment-style living with a fully digital, seamless guest journey. Fully equipped, design-led units are complemented by curated communal spaces, creating a modern, flexible and independent living environment that clearly differentiates from traditional hotel formats. The concept is tailored to students, young professionals, business travellers, couples, families and anyone looking for a temporary home, with flexible booking options from a few nights to several months and easy extension.

At the heart of the experience is June’s market-leading technology platform, which powers a fully digital and frictionless guest journey. From booking and WhatsApp-based check-in to an AI-powered digital concierge and smart in-room functionalities, guests move through their entire stay with a few taps on their phone. Services such as June Barista allow guests to order coffee directly via their phone and enjoy it freshly prepared without waiting, adding convenience and comfort to the extended-stay experience.

The takeover also underscores PRIMESTAR’s ability to integrate and reposition existing operations at speed, building on the rapid rebranding and relaunch the Group recently demonstrated with June SIX Salzburg A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

Dr. Roland Rausch, Chairman and Owner of PRIMESTAR Group: The acquisition of this asset represents another important milestone in the growth of our June platform. Following the announcement of our June Six & Stay flagship at Warschauer Platz, this transaction further strengthens our Berlin platform. We have a long-term commitment to reinvest and support the property's repositioning embarking on a long-term success under the June Stay brand.”

Ronald Giese, Managing Director of PRIMESTAR Group: “This takeover is a logical next step in expanding our June platform in Berlin. The combination of a prime location, an established team and a long-term partnership with our landlord gives us a strong foundation to invest in the property and unlock the full potential of June Stay — bringing together hospitality, living and work in one connected ecosystem.”

The transaction was led and negotiated by Hogan Lovells and Marc P. Werner.
